Latest News On My eBay Suspension

Morning everyone :)

Ok here’s whats been happening so far.

On the 5th October I received an email from eBay informing me of a seven day suspension due to alleged ‘Copyright Violations’. Apparently a so called ‘expert’ who lists items in the same categories I do complained about my listings and because they are a member of eBays ‘Enhanced Member Reporting’ gestapo style hit squad I was guilty as charged (even though they had no proof whatsoever!)

No matter how many emails or phone conversations I had with Powerseller support they would not budge on the matter even though I think they know they had made a mistake.

As such I have had to re-apply to have myself reinstated. My application arrived at eBay offices in Dublin on the 13th October but so far I have still heard nothing.

In the meantime I vowed to change my business practices and make sure that eBay only becomes a small part of my online ventures. So in a way it’s been good because it’s given me a ‘kick up the ass’. If I get my account reinstated I will continue trading on eBay but my main focus will be to generate more income selling physical cd/dvd products using both online and offline promotion methods and Kunaki as my product distribution centre.

However to do this I needed some more knowledge on the subject. What I mean is I know how to put products onto Kunaki and sell them but I wanted more info on turning PLR ebooks into full blown multimedia cd’s and dvd’s.

Since being suspended I have spent over $300.00 dollars on two separate packages that I know will help me to do this. One was a three DVD set taken from a seminar in Australia. It’s a little old (2006) I think but the info contained is still highly relevant. This will help me to market my products offline.

The next product I purchased was Reseller Brainstorm by Simon Hodgkinson. This is pure gold information.

Why?

Because in it Simon showed me how he took a $20 ebook with Private Label Rights and turned it into a $40,000.00 a year membership website. You even get access to the site to see how it works.

There’s also a case study on how Simon took a product other marketers were giving away and tuned it into a $25,000.00 best-seller.

It’s a real eye opener and it’s something I’ll be going back to over and over again. After all I have at least 50 PLR ebooks on my hard drive so even if I only do a quarter of what Simon has done it will be immensely profitable.

Reseller Brainstorm cost me $97.00 plus postage and with it I managed to get the Resell Rights so I could offer it to you. But I’m not going to charge you $97.00 (you’ll get the Master Resell version too!). Grab your copy at the link below:

http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/brainstorm

Don’t let eBay do to you what they have done to me. Grab your copy of Reseller Brainstorm now and start making far more than most other marketers will with the same products ;)

Warm regards,

Richard

p.s. Reseller Brainstorm is not a product you can sell on eBay. You cannot sell it cheaply either. These are the conditions of the reseller licence you’ll get from Simon. If you cannot agree to those conditions don’t buy it.

Whats The Most Important Thing You Need Online . . . Survey Answer Inside . . .

Hi everyone,

. . . and our survey said?

Ok it wasn’t really my survey (grin) but the results were very interesting and I’ll get to them in a minute.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, You need two things to be successful online.

1. Your own products
2. Your own mailing list of subscribers

If you know of one successful marketer who doesn’t have any of the above let me know! I’m betting you don’t.

So which one of the above points is most important?

Hmmmm that’s a tough one but I’m going to say a mailing list. You see with a mailing list I can make instant cash by promoting a product or service that I feel benefits my subscribers. I don’t recommend junk and I never will. As such when I promote something I generate some nice returns.

Without a mailing list I wouldn’t be able to do that.

Ok lets go back to the survey I mentioned at the beginning. A very well known Ebay Powerseller (planetsms) once conducted a survey of his subscribers. 75% of them (and he has over 10,000) were NOT building a mailing list.

75%!!!!!

That’s truly astounding. 7,500 people leaving money on the table. 7,500 people unable to promote further offers and new products to their previous buyers and subscribers. 7,500 people who are probably complaining right now about how they never make a bean online. Well duh!

So why are so many people not doing the No.1 most important thing when they know they should?

Well perhaps they feel it’s something they can’t do. Maybe they can’t afford. Maybe they have no idea where to start.

All the above can be overcome though and if you aren’t building a mailing list yet then please . . .start now!

The longer you leave it the longer you go missing opportunities of making extra money.

For me there is only one company I use and that is Aweber. It is the most popular and most successful autoresponder service bar none. Unfortunately they recently raised their prices. I’m lucky as I joined before the price rise and as such got to stay at the same rate as before.

If you can afford Aweber then I recommend you use them.

If you are just starting out though and feel it’s just too expensive for you then where else can you go?

Well I think I have found somewhere!

The company is called Wizard Responder and it is run by two well known and respected marketers, Randy Smith and Pete Crossman.

http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/wizard

Over the past three months they have been creating an alternative to Aweber. In other words they have been getting themselves whitelisted by all the major ISP’s (Internet Service Providers) like AOL, Yahoo etc.

To top it off they are even fully certified by Microsoft (MSN, Hotmail etc) and exceed all the requirements laid down by these major players.

They also have all the features that you’d expect to find from a major Autoresponder service. Things like:

Unlimited Autoresponders
Message Scheduling
Unlimited Follow Up Messages
Link Tracking
High Email Delivery Rates (99% +)

and much more besides. Not only that but they provide you with a huge collection of video tutorials showing you how to get started and up and running. Perfect for newbies and seasoned marketers alike.

So how much for this service?

$24.95 a month, nope.
$14.95 a month, nope!
$10.00 a month, no way jose!

How . . .

about . . .

$8.97 a month for up to 10,000 subscribers!

For my UK readers that’s about a fiver.

You need to start building a mailing list of buyers and subscribers today so go and visit http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/wizard before they come to their senses and raise the price.

Warm regards,
Richard Fenn

P.S. If you don’t decide to start building your list today remember this: Every day you put off building your mailing list is another day of lost opportunities. Don’t put this off any longer.

Ebay fee’s hike . . . good or bad for info product sellers?

Well Ebay are at it again with even more changes to the site. This time it’s fees that are changing so lets have a look at what this means for the multimedia seller (like you and me).

First of all you can now list an item with a gallery picture for free!

On the plus side:

Having a gallery image definitely helps with sales and I can prove this by simply searching for finished items in any category and then scrolling through the results. You’ll see that more items sell with a gallery picture than without.

On the negative side:

Everyone worth there salt will now be listing with a gallery picture so there will be more to compete against and more for a prospective customer to choose from.

This means that having a good gallery picture is going to be very important but what is the best type of gallery picture?

Ideally this would be a nice clear picture of the actual product you’re selling. Always try to make sure the product fills up the whole picture. For example lets say your selling a pair of trainers, don’t photograph the whole table that the trainers are on, make sure you get in and take a good clear close up so that the trainers fill the photo.

The next change is called ‘Success-Based Fees’ and these start from the 24th September.

An ‘insertion’ fee for a ‘Buy-It-Now’ item at £1.99 currently costs 15p for up to 10 days. After the changes this will be 40p for up to 30 days. This should save you a little bit of cash each month but only if you list it for 30 days. If you continue to list it for 7 days for example it will still cost 40p.

However if you have a basic shop the listing fee drops to just 20p for up to 30 days, 5p if you have a featured shop or just 1p if you have an anchor shop.

Now you may be thinking why would they structure ‘Buy-It-Now’ listing fees on whether you have a shop or not? The reason is because they are getting rid of the ‘Shop Inventory’ format and replacing it with ‘Buy-It-Now’ for up to 30 days or ‘Good Til Cancelled’.

As such all your listings will now be shown in search listings (shop items didn’t). Another thing to notice is that the listing fee is now set regardless at what price your item starts or finishes at. This is extremely good news for anyone selling higher priced items.

All shop fees are also going to be increased. A ‘Basic Shop’ will go from £6.00 a month to £14.99 a month, ‘Featured Shop’ from £30.00 to £49.99 and an ‘Anchor Shop’ from £300.00 to £349.00.

Final Value Fees (FVF)

These are also changing. Currently any item that sells between 1p and £29.99 costs 7.5% in FVF fees, so if your item sells at £1.99 the FVF will be 14.9p (let’s say 15p for easier calculations). The new FVF will be 9.9% which equates to 19.7p (or 20p).

So then bottom line, will we save any money or not?

Facts and figures time . . . .

Lets say you have a Basic shop and list 1000 items a month and sell 10% (100 products) at an average price of £4.00.

Currently it would cost you:

Listing Fees – 15p x 1000 = £150.00
FVF Fees (7.5% of £4) – 30p x 100 = £30.00
Basic Shop – £6.00

Monthly Total – £186.00

with the new price structures it would be:

Listing Fees – 20p x 1000 = £200.00
FVF Fees (9.9% of £4) – 39.6p x 100 = £39.60
Basic Shop – £14.99

Monthly Total = £254.59

Brilliant, nice one Ebay thanks a bunch thats an extra £70.00 a month!

Errrrr but hang on a moment . . .

Lets see what happens if we upgrade to a ‘Featured Shop’ at £49.99 a month.

Our listing fees drop to just 5p . . .

Listing Fees – 5p x 1000 = £50.00
FVF Fees (9.9% of £4) – 39.6p x 100 = £39.60
Basic Shop – £49.99

Monthly Total = £139.59

Wahey that’s nearly £50.00 LESS PER MONTH than before!

According to Ebay ‘All new fee amounts also apply to listings with multiple identical items in Buy It Now format (colour variations are permitted).’

This means you can now (from 24th September) list 100 items in a single listing for 30 days and still only pay 5p per listing if you upgrade to a ‘Featured Shop’.

For more details on these changes you can visit the official Ebay announcement page at:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/pricechange08/#fees

Also I recommend you check out the following pages too:

Auction Acrobat Update

Ok first of all what is the difference between Auction Acrobat and the Disc Mojo software I recommended a few weeks ago?

Auction Acrobat is completely different from Disc Mojo. It was coded from scratch and is not an ‘extention.’

Disc Mojo is primarily used for the delivery of CD/DVD’s on Amazon, CD Baby, Websites and Blogs. (And it does an amazing job doing it!)

Auction Acrobat is a brand new script built from scratch and it has a completely different set of functions. Auction Acrobat is primarily used for eBay. It does not support website transactions like Disc Mojo (which was a much easier script to create).

Auction Acrobat is the only software in the market that automates the delivery process through eBay on 100% autopilot.

Lets say you sell 50 cd/dvd products on Ebay in a month you’ll need the following:

Blank CD/DVD’s – 50 Printable CD’s £7.00
A CD Printer £80.00
Printer Paper for receipts – 500 Sheets £1.99
Padded Envelopes – 50 for £10.00
First Class Stamps – 50 for £26.00

and most important of all decent products which you probably already have stored on your pc’s hard drive!

Total Month One £124.99
Total Month Two £44.99
Total Month Three etc…… £44.99

Total for a year = £619.88

Using Auction Acrobat to sell 50 cd/dvd products a month on Ebay you’ll need:

An account at Kunaki (Free!)
An account at Paypal (Free!)
An account at Ebay (Free!)
Auction Acrobat Script $67.00 for next 24 hours only (Approx £36.00)
Domain Name £2.99 a year
Hosting Account $4.95 a month (at Hostgator for instance) (Approx £2.65)

Total For A Whole Year! £70.79

Total saved = £549.09

Here’s how the script works.

1. You create your cd/dvd product and upload it to Kunaki using the free software Kunaki provides for you.
2. You add your product to the Auction Acrobat script which is installed on your webspace.
3. Your customer buys a product from you on Ebay.
4. Paypal sends a notification to Auction Acrobat about the sale.
5. Auction Acrobat places the order with Kunaki and adds the customer to your Aweber or Getresponse mailing list.
6. Kunaki delivers the product to your customer.

It really is as simple as that. Once your products are set up at both Kunaki and Ebay all you will ever have to do is list (and relist) your products on Ebay!

If you’re selling CD/DVD products on Ebay then do yourself a favour and save over £540.00 a year!

http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/auctionacrobat

In about 24 hours the price will go up to $77.00 and then later it will go to $97.00.

Warm regards, Richard

‘Is This The New DLGuard or My Digital Dispatch For Physical Products?’

The New ‘DLGuard / MyDigitalDispatch’ For CD/DVD Products?

In the good old days of selling downloadable items on Ebay many of the top Ebay sellers (like myself) used scripts like DLGuard or MyDigitalDispatch to completely automate the whole sales process.

These scripts were fantastic. No more hours sending emails to customers with the download link to their purchases. These scripts did it all for you. Just set up your items in the scripts and it worked away on your webspace delivering your ebooks automatically to your Ebay customers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Then along came the Ebay ‘Downloadable Items’ ban!

After much uproar we realised that more money could be made by selling our ebooks and software on CD orDVD as physical products. OK so it would be more work on our part but at least we could carry on with our Ebay businesses and the profit margins would actually increase. Let’s face it, when digital items are neatly packaged into tangible CD/DVD form the value of these products increases by at least 200%. In addition to this, the customers are much happier with their purchase.

Soon scripts were created to help CD/DVD sellers to use Kunaki.com to fulfil their orders. These scripts were good because they cut out the task of packaging and distributing your items from home.

However there was always the problem that it wasn’t fully automated with Ebay. You still had to wait for the orders to come in and then pop over to Kunaki or your website where the script was set up and place the orders manually.

Well all that has now changed! FINALLY… A brand new software breakthrough that will automate the entire process of creating, packaging, and shipping your CD/DVD’s on eBay to the extent that all you have to do is press the ‘relist’ button once a week.

Sounds easy right?

http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/auctionacrobat

So you must be asking yourself…” How can I generate automated passive income streams with this software?”

There are many ways to achieve this goal but TWO methods seem to be very popular and are proven to work again and again!

1. Get products with resale rights and sell them on eBay with your name branding. Since Auction Acrobat Software automates the creation, packaging, and shipping of the CD/DVD’s, you can have unlimited products selling for profit or you may choose to sell them cheap and build a highly profitable buyer list which will make you consistent money on a long-term basis.

2. Sell high-priced CD/DVD’s and make a passive residual income by using the 280+ MILLION buyers who are looking to buy products from eBay every single day.

FACT: Over 70,000 new buyers join eBay every day…!

http://www.rlb-publishing.co.uk/auctionacrobat

It’s a BEAUTIFUL system…

You choose the system that suits you best and instantly AUTOMATE the entire delivery of your CD/DVD products to generate a new income stream…IT’S THAT EASY!

If you act now you can take advantage of a special promotional DISCOUNT… HURRY… price increases very soon!

Back from our holiday and a marketing lesson!

Hello everyone,

well we’re back from our family holiday to Rhodes island in Greece.

First of all many thanks to everyone who wished us a good holiday, we certainly had one!

Luckily there were no aftershocks (they had a 6.3 earthquake the day before we left the UK) and the bush fires they are now having were nowhere near Ixia where we stayed. We did hear a huge procession of fire engines flying down the main road through Ixia on Tuesday though and wondered what had happened.

The apartment we had was fine even though we read a couple of dodgy reviews just before we left and the kids enjoyed the big (and very deep) pool while we enjoyed the sunbeds (grin).

The food as always in Greece was just fantastic, huge portions of great tasting dishes. Greek salad to die for and great local beer and wine!

We went on a trip to Falaraki’s Water Park which was fantastic. They have a great selection of water slides and pools plus plenty of places to keep cool in the shade. The pic below shows both me and Joshua flying down a huge slide (Josh is nearly at the bottom and I’m halfway down).

They also had a great kids pool with Pirate ship, water cannons and more. The pic below shows a huge bucket that took 15 miuntes to fill up before tipping over on top of everyone below (absolutely hilarious!). Click the image below for a larger version.

We ate out every evening about 8pm when the sun had dropped a bit and the temperature was cooler. We went to a fabulous restaurant called ‘Alexandros’ more times than any of the other restaurants.

Why?

Well for a start off the Greek gentleman on the door (Michael) was a great host. Funny and charming he knew exactly what to say to entice people into the restaurant. The waiters were also a great bunch who really made us feel welcome and the food was excellent. They also had a Playstation and a Nintendo Wii in the kids area which pleased our two no end!

Watching Michael ‘work the door’ was hugely entertaining and a great lesson in marketing too. He knew 5 different languages so no matter whether you were English, Greek, French, German or Spanish he could talk to you and entice you inside. He always brought people into the restaurant, pulled back the chairs for each person to sit down and called a waiter over to bring you the menus.

None of the other restaurants we visited even compared to the hospitality shown at Alexandros. And theirin lies the marketing lesson. Everyone knew what to do to make you feel individual, special and comfortable. As such you really wanted to go back there time and time again.

Do you make your customers feel like that? Is there anything you can improve in your customer service?

Customer service on Ebay is even more important today. Have you noticed lately when you search for an item it lists things as ‘Best Match’ rather than ‘Ending Soonest’?

To save this post being huge here is a very valuable link to a page all about Ebay’s Best Match feature and what you can do to improve your listings and make sure you appear near the top:

http://www.auctioninsights.info/ebays-best-match-made-simple.html

I’ll finish of this post with a picture of the view from the Water Park looking out to sea and also Alexandros’ best asset, Michael! When I’ve uploaded all the video footage I took I’ll post about our boat trip to Lindos village plus show you some of the HUGE bugs out there!

Cheers, Richard

Free Ebay Gallery, More Newbie Guides Plus Master Resell, Private Label Products

Hello everyone,

it’s been a while since I last made a post. I’ve been pretty busy lately. I decided I didn’t like my Ebay listing template so I designed a new one. Once I was happy with it I then had to change all my Ebay listings which took a while! I still have all my store listings to do but my weekly listings look pretty good if I say so myself (grin).

While I’m on the subject of Ebay did you know that adding a gallery picture to your listing is now free? Well it is over the summer until 30th September anyway. For more details click the link below:

http://www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/200805.shtml#2008-05-09124349

I use a gallery picture with all my listings because it definitely helps me to sell more items but hey I don’t mind saving a bit of cash, thankyou Ebay!

Virtual Sales Agent To Buy Or Not To Buy?

If you are on any other internet marketers email list besides mine then no doubt you have received a flood of emails regarding a new program by Dave Guindon. It is called Virtual Sales Agent. Here are some of the email subject lines I’ve received so far over the last 12 hours . . .

  • most impressive product this year . . .
  • Dave Guindon’s new product – best I’ve seen this year!
  • Richard, increase your profits by 40% without . . .
  • Richard STOP working harder, and put THIS new “employee” to work for you…
  • Your Own Virtual Sales Agent for Your Site…
  • Increase Sales By Up To 80% On Autopilot
  • Brand New Technology That Gets You 40% More Sales From All Your Websites. . It’s True!

So what does Virtual Sales Agent do and is it right for you?

Have you purchased any products from Clickbank lately? If so you may well have seen a script similar to VSA in action. You know the one where you go to leave the page and a small windows pops up and says ‘Hey, before you go I have a Special Offer for you’. ‘Click Continue to leave or click Cancel to stay on this page’.

So you click the cancel button and there’s a new window offering you the product at a lower price or with extra bonus items.

It’s a great idea, works very effectively, and as a marketing method it has been used hundreds of times before (but in different ways). However up until now the only options available were REALLY expensive. They were either monthly fees or a percentage of each sale generated by the script and this would be ongoing too.

Well Dave decided to create his own version of the script and charge a one-time fee for it. He’s going to make some serious cash over the next few days and weeks I can tell you. Why? Because the monthly fees etc for the other scripts put many people off using them. Dave has eliminated this. Also Dave has added many features that were not available on the other scripts.

I won’t go into all the details here because it would fill this page, just check out the salespage for more info and some excellent videos showing you how it works.

Virtual Sales Agent

But is it right for you?

Here’s a few tips to help you decide whether Virtual Sales Agent is right for you.

1. Could you use it now or in the future?

If the answer is no then it’s not right for you. If the answer is yes then grab a copy now before the price doubles. I won’t be using it straight away but I will later on this year so I’ve bought it now while the price is still quite low.

2. Do you have any products that are not selling as well as you hoped?

If the answer is no then you might not need this product. If the answer is yes then VSA will help you make those extra sales. In fact, Dave has generated 80% EXTRA conversions from one of his sites using VSA. That’s a massive conversion rate.

3. Do you have lots of people leaving your salespage without purchasing?

If not then first of all well done! You must have phenomenal copyrighting skills and I tip my hat to you. If yes then VSA will help you convince those leavers to purchase your product. Even if you have a really good converting sales page, you probably have about 95 out of 100 visitors leaving your site without purchasing.

VSA can easily help you increase those sales by up to 40%.

4. Have I bought a copy?

Yes. I will be releasing products via Clickbank and my own websites over this year and it will help generate many more sales, not only for me but my affiliates too.

Many products are released each year and hyped up about how good they are. Unfortunately most of them are garbage, not so with VSA.

I honestly believe this really is “most impressive product this year”. I have seen many top name marketers like John Thornhill and Rob Benwell using the other version of this script. If they are using it then it works, plain and simple.

To get VSA just go to the link below:
